For so many years I have been on this roller coaster of living clean, healthy and being super conscious of what I eat to the dark side of literally having EVERYTHING I want to eat. So this Holiday Season, I want to try to rein in the past months of utter gluttony and for the next few weeks I’ll be posting a few healthier (and of course delicious!) recipes that help me stay on track, so when I indulge I don’t have to feel guilty. I’m also going to continue posting my Holiday Favorites because ‘Tis the Season! I want to share & hopefully inspire you for your Holiday Meals. I’m a firm believer that if you’re craving a pizza, EAT THAT PIZZA. And then go for a hike the next day & prepare a lighter, healthier dinner. It’s literally all about finding YOUR balance and what works for you.
Timy and I like to do @Whole30 1-2x a year and it really makes us feel reset and more energized. So during the rest of the year when we decide to eat Pork Belly, Lasanga and alllll the Cheese, we look to those recipes to try and balance out our diets. It’s not an exact science by any means but we try. I will definitely be sharing some of my @Whole30approved recipes like Chicken and Sweet Potato Curry, Roasted Whole Chicken with Root Vegetables and Instant Pot Spaghetti Squash with Pesto Shrimp.
How do you keep balance during the Holidays? Or year round? What do you do to make your body feel healthy and energized? Please share and Thank you all for the continued support!
