Cinnamon Banana Bread

My kids would eat the entire warm, cinnamon-y banana bundt straight from the oven if I let them. This is a staple in our house. It's delicious, super moist and so SO easy to make. Just a few simple ingredients (plus you get to use those bananas that you've let go a few days too long on the counter) and BOOM. Cinnamon Banana Bread. Perfect for breakfast or a sweet snack and the whole family will devour it!

Ingredients:

2 Cups Flour

1/3 Cup Brown Sugar

1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar

1/2 lb Butter (softened)

3-4 Ripe Bananas

1 Egg

1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

1 tsp. Baking Powder

1 tsp. Baking Soda

1/2 Tbsp. Ground Cinnamon

1/2 tsp. Salt

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. In a standing mixer, combine sugars and butter.

  3. Mix in bananas until combined and most chunks are gone, then add egg.

  4. Next, add cinnamon, salt, baking powder and baking soda.

  5. On low, add half of your flour, mix until just incorporated and then add the other half. Don't over mix!

  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes if using a bundt pan. You can divide this up into two loaf pans and bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown and toothpick tester comes out clean.

  7. Let cool on rack then remove from pan(s) and enjoy!

Tips:

Feel free to use this recipe as a base banana bread for adding blueberries, chocolate or nuts. You can omit the cinnamon if you want a traditional Banana Bread recipe... (but it smells and tastes so good!) I have added peanut butter chips and that was super tasty- the combination of flavors are endless!

Please be sure to comment on how your recipe turned out and give any/all feedback. Share your pictures on my social media pages with #alliesfeast and I hope you love this easy Banana Bread!!
