Baked Brie Bites

These little individual Brie Bites are soooo good!! The topping choices are endless and they take next to no prep/oven time. I made three different bites as pictured; Homemade Cranberry Orange Chutney, Balsamic glazed Caramelized Onions and Sundried Tomatoes. Using refrigerated crescent roll dough makes these so simple when you’re busy prepping the big meal!

Ingredients: **the amount of ingredients depends on the number of guests: 1 tube of dough yields about 16 bites and each bite uses about 1/2"-1" cube of Brie

1 Tube Refrigerated Crecent Roll Dough (I used Immaculate Baking but any brand will work great)

Brie; roughly Cut into 1/2" Cubes

Your Choice of Toppings:

Caramelized Onions

Cranberry Sauce or Chutney

Sundries Tomatoes

Apple & Pecan

Roasted Jalapeno

Mushrooms & Thyme

Honey

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees

  2. Remove the dough from the tube and on a lightly floured pastry slab or counter, pinch the seams together, roll with a rolling pin and cut into 2"x2" squares. I did this getting 4 squares per 2 triangles pinched together for a total of 16 squares.

  3. In a Mini Muffin Tin, lightly spray with oil and place each square into a cup. Gently mold the dough into a cup and let the edges hang over.

  4. Precook the dough for 5 minutes and then remove from oven and now is when you place one cube of brie in each cup and top with your Toppings of choice and add another cube of brie on top.

  5. Cook for about 6-7 more minutes until brie has melted and the cups are lightly brown.

  6. Drizzle with honey if desired and garnish with fresh Thyme or Herbs.

  7. Enjoy!

I hope you enjoy these Bites whenever need a quick and easy appetizer! Share your feedback in the comments below and post pictures on social media using hashtag #saltsandseasons
